We’ve been busy making changes to our platform and expanding our network this past quarter. Take a look at some of what we did:
Expanded Market Reach by 65.8 Million Lives
Tava Health continues to grow its impact, reaching millions more individuals through expanded partnerships with leading insurance providers. In Q4 of 2024, we added coverage through Cigna nationwide, Independence BCBS in Pennsylvania, and Wellmark BCBS in Iowa and South Dakota, among others. With United Healthcare now extended to all 50 states, Tava empowers therapists to deliver high-quality care to over 17 million additional lives. And with Carelon coming in 2025, our reach will expand even further—ensuring access to care for everyone, everywhere.
In-Person Sessions
Tava Health started with virtual therapy to make care accessible no matter where you are, but in-person sessions are now fully supported through the platform. After a therapist adds an in-person practice location to their Tava profile preferences, the Tava team will submit it to insurance payers the therapist is enrolled with, and notify them once they are approved. Only therapists can schedule in-person sessions on behalf of clients. Learn more about setting up in-person sessions here.
Set a Location on Availability
Not only can clients book in-person sessions through the platform now, but care providers can selectively choose when certain locations are available at specific times. After you’ve added your in-person locations under Preferences and set your availability for those locations in Availability, clients will be able to choose their preferred location from a dropdown menu when scheduling. They’ll only see times that match your in-person availability, making the process seamless and convenient.
